Position Summary:
Erinoakkids will be launching a new Autism ABA Services program in September 2024. We will create a dedicated team offering Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) services to children aged 3-9 that prioritizes cost containment while maintaining clinical effectiveness.

Autism ABA Services will consist of a fee-for-service model providing 1:1 services in a semester based format, utilizing the principles of ABA. Packages available for purchase will include:

  • 1:1 with Behavior Clinician
  • Assessment and clinical supervision with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Consultation with Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, Social Worker, Senior Behavior Analyst
  • Group social and recreational opportunities throughout the day
  • Parent/Caregiver coaching, resources and transition planning
This position will consist of up to 4 hours of clinical work (consultation, planning and documentation) per week. The successful clinician will connect with the Clinical Supervisor team to book relevant consultation appointments (observations, team meetings, etc.) as required. This position will take place throughout the entire calendar year (12 months).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consulting to ABA clinical team (Clinical Supervisor + Behaviour Clinician) on occupational therapy related concerns (direct client observation either in person or virtually)
  • Connecting with the Clinical Supervisor to discuss specific identified client issues
  • Documentation of consultative service in Meditech following appointments
  • Liasing with parents regarding the consultation provided to clinicians as directed by Clinical Supervisor
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a strong asset
  • Experience consulting to other professionals is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, conflict resolution and problem solving skills;
  • Excellent MS Office and Meditech proficiency is required;
