Job Description

SHIPPER AND RECEIVER

Roofmart is a major Canadian distributor of residential, commercial Roofing and Siding products with over 50 locations across Canada.

Safely load, unload, move, ship and receive product and inventory.

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE;

  • Safely loading, unloading, moving, shipping, and receiving product
  • Ensuring orders are picked correctly, tagged, and double checked
  • Assisting as required with tapered insulation fabrication
  • Assisting as required with metal shop operations
  • Complying with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation
  • Other duties as required

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;

  • Valid Forklift License (training can be provided)
  • Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs
  • Previous Shipping and Receiving Experience
  • Previous Warehouse and Forklift Experience - Preferred

WORK AUTHORIZATIONS AND TRAVEL;

  • Authorized to work in Canada

Pacific Roof Centre was founded in 2002 with one branch serving the Thompson Okanagan and West Kootenay regions of British Columbia’s interior. Over the years as the area has grown, so has Pacific Roof Centre’s dedication to providing the materials our customers need when they need them. That is why in January of 2008 we opened a Vernon branch to better service our customers in that area. Roof Centre became a one stop roofing and siding materials distributor catering to homeowners, contractors, home builders and developers.
