A Day In The Life：Minute book reviewsDealing with incorporation's including pre- and post-documentation; extra-provincial registrations across Canada (Reorganisations, acquisitions, mergers, amalgamations, amendments, revivals, dissolution's, name changes and continuations)Reviewing agreements relating to transactionsDetermine and draft required documentationComplete and summarize due diligence searchesOrganize and complete closing documentation and closing booksComplete required provincial or federal corporate filingsThe paralegal will handle files from beginning to completion, working with minimal supervisionOther related tasks or responsibilitiesMust Haves：Computer literate with good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word and Excel)Knowledge of the legislation related to the practice area of law and ability to exercise independent judgementFamiliarity with the corporate records databaseFamiliarity with virtual minute booksFamiliarity with the incorporation process under the Corporations Act as well as experience with public companies and Securities Act is requiredAbility to manage several files at once, strong sense of planning and organizationDrafting capabilitiesAbility to work under pressure and tight deadlinesThorough, meticulous and detail-orientedHighly autonomousProfessionalStrong organizational skillsExcellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
