The Marketing and Business Coordinator will be responsible for providing marketing and business development support to the Canadian team. They will be responsible for assisting the writing and publishing of content across our media channels, helping to identify new potential customers for the business through marketing methods, and general administrative tasks in the Canadian office.

Reports to: Head of Projects

Key relationships: Head of Projects, CEO, COO, Regional Director, Digital Content Creator, Engineering and Admin Teams

  • Develop and maintain business initiatives, opportunities and programs to increase customer base, generate and follow-up on leads
  • Undertake appropriate market research to identify opportunities to support the strategic goals
  • Respond to and follow up on all sales enquiries and leads in a timely manner using appropriate methods and ensuring relevant reporting of same.
  • Identifying and contacting any new potential customers through digital marketing methods
  • Record, analyse, report, populate and administer information efficiently in accordance to internal systems, procedures and company requirements
  • Assist and participate in events promoting the company
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies across all the Malone Group brands
  • Liaise regularly with Malone Group marketing and digital content creation team
  • Assist and help maintain digital marketing campaigns across online channels, (SEM), (SEO)
  • Interpret web traffic to content (e.g. conversion and bounce rates)
  • Assist in digital content creation and social media marketing
  • Assist with the distribution of copies to advertise our company and products
  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles

General office duties:

  • Represent Malone Group with customer and staff enquires via email, telephone and in person, sell company vision, business, culture and value proposition
  • Provide general administrative support to the Canadian team, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and managing marketing materials
  • Assist with organising company social and charitable events.

Candidate Profile

  • Diploma or University Degree in Marketing or Business with a specialization in Marketing
  • An understanding and knowledge of consumer marketing, branding, advertising, digital and social media marketing, and reporting
  • Excellent organizational skills with experience implementing and using CRMs platforms an asset
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Proficiency in marketing tools such as SEO, LinkedIn and/or Google AdWords desirable
  • Be motivated, highly dependable individual with solid communication skills, attention to detail, and an ability to maintain high quality standards
  • Proactively organises and plans ahead to ensure optimum project timelines are met
  • Ability to work within multiple projects of different scale and complexity at any one time
  • Enjoys solving problems, interacting with customers, suppliers and contractors and eager to maintain strong constructive relationships
