Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you 

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

We are looking for dynamic consultants to grow our  Engineering  team in  Toronto . Your experience, knowledge, and commitment will help us to face our client's challenges.

You will be supporting different projects through your expertise as Electrical Engineer.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Lead the design and development of electrical systems, including circuits, components, and control systems, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and safety
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, oversee deadlines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful completion of projects within specified timelines
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical advice and expertise to the engineering team, proposing innovative solutions and resolving complex electrical issues as they arise
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to seamlessly integrate electrical systems into larger projects and products
  • Testing and Validation: Develop and execute comprehensive testing and validation procedures to ensure the functionality and performance of electrical systems, conducting thorough analysis and making necessary adjustments
  • Documentation and Reports: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and reports, to accurately document project progress and results

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a master's degree is preferred
  • Minimum of four years of progressive experience in electrical engineering roles, preferably in a product development environment
  • Proficiency in electrical design software tools such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar
  • Solid knowledge of electrical principles, circuits, and components, with expertise in analog and digital systems
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with great attention to detail
