Our Senior Digital Marketing Strategists work with clients to deliver insightful research and actionable recommendations for their digital marketing needs, often in conjunction with website maintenance or redesign. They are an expert member of our client strategy group but will also support the marketing team on strategies for the agency's own digital presence.

Types of support you will offer to our clients:

  • SEO: Deliver technical assessments and recommendations for optimizing website content to rank higher in search engine results pages, including keyword research and on-page SEO strategies.
  • SEM/PPC: Advise on, plan, and manage paid search campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and Social Media, including budget allocation, bid management, and performance analysis.
  • Analytics: Use tools like Google Analytics to track and measure the performance of marketing campaigns. Define KPIs, evaluate existing data, establish tagging plans, and provide expert advice on data interpretation.
  • Reporting/Dashboards: Build comprehensive reports and dashboards using tools like Looker Studio to visualize data and provide actionable insights.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Improve a website's ability to convert visitors into customers by mapping user journeys, conducting A/B testing, and implementing changes based on test results.
  • Email and Content Marketing: Develop and plan the distribution of engaging content to attract and retain a target audience, including email campaigns, blog posts, and social media content.

What kind of skill set do you need to be successful?

  • Degree in marketing or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in an analytical digital marketing role
  • Experience with digital advertising tools and website analysis tools
  • Strong knowledge of keyword research and SEO best practices
  • Knowledge of performance marketing and conversion optimization
  • Experience presenting complex data simply
  • Interest in current and future digital technology trends and proactive attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Commitment to customer service (internal and external)
  • Must be located in Canada
