Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)/Ops Developer

5 month contract opportunity till Dec 31st, expected to extend

"Hybrid" work environment - 2 -3 days per week in the Vancouver office.

Desired skills & experience:

  • Strong combination of technical experience, hands-on capability, technical leadership experience
  • 7+ years of design & implementation experience in multi-cloud environments (Azure & AWS)
  • Experience with architecture and operation of container technologies such as Kubernetes, service-mesh
  • Expertise with Linux system administration, networking and security, ideally in a Cloud environment
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm
  • Expertise with modern CI/CD systems such as ArgoCD, GitHub Actions
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, ELK stack)
  • Experience with microservices architectures and debugging/investigation techniques.
  • Knowledge of cloud monitoring and troubleshooting skills
  • Scripting knowledge – proficiency with Python, Bash, PowerShell, JS or similar languages
  • Adept in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy

$80 - $95 per hour for an INC consultant, based on 40 hours per week.
