We are looking to bring on a new Creative Team (Art Director & Copywriter); and the salary for each role in Toronto, Ontario will be in the CAD$60K-$70K range. What will it entail?

The Art Director, in partnership with the Copywriter, develops strategically sound ideas for a range of brands, audiences and marketing channels (social & digital, print and broadcast), in addition to overseeing the design and visual look of ads or commercials. You will generate and execute creative solutions for clients, while ensuring creative cohesiveness from concept to production. The Copywriter will develop, write, edit and oversee copy revisions to ensure the creative integrity of the product and ensure that the clients’ creative strategy and project objectives are met. You are both strong strategic thinkers who consider the big picture in addition to the small details in order to deliver the best product.


Concept Development and Design:

  • Attend client briefings and brainstorming sessions
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies
  • Develop interactive design solutions
  • Create multiple concepts (per project)


Production:

  • Prepare presentations and review layouts
  • Send completed artwork to studio
  • Supervise studio and print production quality


Management and Direction:

  • Provide input to internal creative processes


Client Interaction:

  • Present creative work to the client and help to sell-in agency recommendations
  • Receive feedback from client on copy material


Who are we looking for?

  • A Creative Team with a proven track record in an advertising agency, and experience across channels and industries
  • Demonstrated track record of client relationship development and service
  • Someone with strong communication and analytical skills, with 360° thinking to lead the work and teams
  • Someone who thrives when collaborating with internal teams across disciplines
  • A confident and seasoned presenter, who can present creative work to the client and help to sell-in agency recommendations
  • The ability to manage multiple workstreams and projects simultaneously
  • An eagerness to try (and adopt) new applications and working methods
  • A dedication to delivering great work


We are currently following a hybrid work model and share our time between our Toronto office located downtown at King & Parliament, and our home offices. Employees need to be within accessible and commutable distance to the office.
