Letellier Shoes is an independently owned footwear store in downtown Ottawa that carries premium brands and styles for men and women. We specialize in fit and service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sales performance, customer satisfaction, and staff training and development. You will work to foster client loyalty and expand our brand presence. The ideal candidate will spearhead these efforts with a customer-centric attitude.

Responsibilities
·Responsible for the successful management of Letellier Shoes and to maximize sales.
·Reports to: President
Requirements
·Overall responsibility for hitting store sales targets, and store operations
·Responsible for all staff (hiring, training, coaching, retaining, recognizing, rewarding, evaluating performance)
·Implement staff contests (vendor and company sponsored)
·Set up Product Knowledge (PK) sessions and track attendance
·Reward outstanding performance
·Fluent in English, both written and verbal
·Post secondary degree / diploma
·3 years retail store managerial experience
·Valid Driver’s License and car
·Strong interpersonal communication skills, leadership and decision making skills
·Excellent time management and organization skills
·Customer Experience
·Overall Responsibility for ensuring that customers with excellent service
·Handle customer e-mails forwarded to Store Manager
·Oversee handling of returns / repairs / returns to vendor as appropriate
·Provide quantitative and qualitative staff and customer product feedback for buyers
·Ensure store looks like a million bucks
Working conditions

·Hours include some evenings and / or weekends
