In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)Education
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary educational institution with acceptable specialization in land survey theory and practice or related fields, such as geomatics, physical geography, geodesy, and remote sensing.
ExperienceEN-SUR-02
- Significant experience in the acquisition, management, analysis, processing, or dissemination of geospatial data.
- Experience providing technical advice and problem-solving services to clients/partners and managers.
EN-SUR-03
- Significant experience in the acquisition, management, analysis, processing, or dissemination of geospatial data.
- Significant experience in the design and implementation of geospatial data processing systems.
- Experience in defining project objectives and priorities.
Significant experience is defined as experience acquired over 2 years within the last 5 years for EN-SUR-02 and over 5 years within the last 8 years for EN-SUR-03.
Operational Requirements- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours and work overtime.
- Knowledge of geomatics as it relates to data acquisition, management, analysis, and dissemination.
- Knowledge of project management principles (for EN-SUR-03).
- Knowledge of trends and issues related to the acquisition, management, and dissemination of geospatial data (for EN-SUR-03).
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
- Ability to work effectively with others.
- Ability to identify and analyze problems and recommend viable solutions (for EN-SUR-02, EN-SUR-03).
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines (for EN-SUR-03).
