Ontario Government Client is actively seeking a Business Analyst. As a Business Analyst, where is your expertise in business analysis, leading sessions for requirements discovery, and translating technical language into business terms. With expertise in conceptualizing enterprise data warehouses and UI/UX design, combined with strong project management and communication skills, they play a vital role in transformative initiatives.

Note: The candidate is present on-site for three days each week.

Criteria:

  • Business Analysis and Problem-Solving Skills:

    • Proficient in requirement elicitation, documentation, gap analysis, and UI/UX design.

    • Facilitation of sessions for requirements discovery with diverse audiences.

    • Writing user stories in Azure DevOps.

    • Translating technical terminology into business terms.

  • Technical Knowledge and Expertise:

    • Leadership in business transformation initiatives, focusing on business architecture and UI/UX design.

    • Experience in conceptual design of enterprise data warehouses.

    • Advanced understanding of data warehouse modeling concepts and principles.

    • Knowledge of enterprise architectural concepts, particularly in Azure data platforms.

    • Familiarity with front-end web technologies and data mining/reporting tools.

  • Organizational and Project Management Skills:

    • Planning, developing, and managing projects, resolving complex technical design problems.

    • Expertise in project management, task estimation, scheduling, and control.

    • Development of documentation and materials for knowledge transfer.

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

    • Gathering information, clarifying needs, and explaining system development recommendations.

    • Preparation of business cases, systems documentation, user manuals, and guidelines.

    • Clarification and discussion of systems development options with clients.
