AutoCAD Technician

We are looking to hire a AutoCAD technician to generate AutoCAD drawings of our trade show booths for our production. You will be responsible for meetings with our sales people and our production and transforming 3D design renderings into AutoCAD blueprints. You are required to work as part of a team and individually on projects.

To ensure success as anAutoCAD technician, you should have working experience with AutoCAD software, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work as part of a team. You should be a technical wizard, creating exact drawings according to the 3D rendering of the booth design that was sold to the client.

AutoCAD Technician Responsibilities:

  • Meeting with sales people and production to review blueprints and design drawings.
  • Creating AutoCAD models according to the sold 3D renderings
  • Working with a design team and individually on CAD projects.
  • Reviewing CAD models with the production and making minor adjustments.
  • Completing job reports.

AutoCAD Technician Requirements:

  • AutoCAD Certification.
  • Previous experience as an AutoCAD technician.
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD software.
  • Ability to read and translate blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Basic understanding of building design.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and individually on projects.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience with booth building is an advantage
  • Cabinetry experiences is an advantage

Job Location: Montréal (Saint-Laurent)

Job start: 15th July 2024

Salary: Depending on qualifications

Full-time
