Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) consultant(e) principal(e) (droit minier) pour être basé à Montréal, Québec.

Description des responsabilités :

En tant que consultant principal (exploitation minière), vous aurez l’occasion de vous joindre à l’une des équipes minières les plus importantes et les plus expérimentées au monde, avec un échantillon diversifié de géologues et d’ingénieurs.

Le rôle principal de ce poste est de superviser et de coordonner les efforts des experts en la matière pendant une étude de faisabilité et la phase initiale de la construction. Dans ce rôle clé, vous servirez de liaison centrale entre les multiples parties prenantes, assurant une communication et une collaboration sans faille. Basé à Montréal, au Québec, ce poste de deux ans offre l’occasion de travailler en étroite collaboration avec notre équipe de SRK Ontario, y compris des collègues de Sudbury et de Toronto, sur un projet percutant et de grande envergure.

Exigences essentielles :

  • Diplôme en génie minier ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Au moins 10 ans d'expérience pratique en génie minier, en exploitation et/ou en consultation.
  • Inscription professionnelle à l'Ordre des géologues du Québec (OGQ) ou à l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • Un niveau élevé de maîtrise du français et de l'anglais parlés et écrits est nécessaire pour ce poste.
  • Expérience de l’exploitation minière du minerai de fer au Canada, plus particulièrement dans le domaine de l’exploitation minière, de la géologie et du traitement.
  • Connaissance suffisante des principaux aspects des projets miniers pour permettre l’identification des risques et des opportunités d’étude.
  • Compétences démontrées en gestion de projet.
  • Niveau avancé de compétences interpersonnelles et de collaboration.
  • Niveau élevé de communication efficace et de qualités de leadership tout en travaillant en équipe.

Ce poste implique de travailler en équipes multidisciplinaires sur une gamme de projets tant au niveau national qu'à l'étranger; les voyages nationaux et internationaux peuvent constituer une partie importante du rôle.
