Job Description: The Registered Nurse A is responsible to the Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region. As a member of the Nursing Department, the Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client-centered care.

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses:

• Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training:

• Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
• Nursing diploma is acceptable
• Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
