New Hire Schedule: The camp operates 7 days a week on three different shifts

Important Information: Must have previous supervising & high volume cooking experience in the food service industry. Vulnerable Sector Check required. Must have reliable transportation to commute to and from the location in Quyon, Quebec. Accommodation available on site. Meals provided - 3 meals per day. Eligible for bonus upon completion of contract. Possibility to access certain camp activities during off hours - swimming, pickleball, tennis etc.

Job Summary

How will you make an impact: You will be responsible for the supervision and training of kitchen staff, in addition to the production, quality assurance, and profitability of all menu items.

As a Cook Supervisor you will:

  • Cook the core menu and any other menus that fit into the operation and serve customers.
  • Supervise all kitchen personnel to ensure correct methodologies are followed, production is done and on time.
  • Accurately count and record inventory monthly or as Operations Manager assigns.
  • Ensure positive client relationships and satisfaction.
  • Ensure the unit has strict compliance with the Compass Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Program, Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS regulations.
  • Ensure food ingredients are stored in their designated area and rotated in the proper manner.

About you:

  • Strong cooking experience and supervisory skills, capable of motivating, leading, and developing associates.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have high volume cooking and service experience.
  • You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal).
