Responsibilities

The Mechanical Engineer will be based in Saskatoon and will be involved with managing non-routine maintenance projects. These projects may include:

  1. Creating detailed commissioning designs and maintenance plans
  2. Designing maintenance procedures for equipment
  3. Conducting document and reporting procedures as per company policies
  4. Conducting field inspections on equipment to ensure safety and performance
  5. Selection of appropriate equipment by research and comparing specifications
  6. Providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle
  7. Updating technical drawings and schematics
  8. Ability to show extensive technical knowledge regarding boilers and pressure vessels
  9. Working with cross-functional teams and relevant stakeholders

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • P. Eng designation with APEGS
  • 4-9 years of experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience with engineering design with a focus on mechanical systems
  • Comprehensive knowledge regarding ASME boiler and pressure vessel codes
