Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical exams, obtain patient histories, and develop treatment plans
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory disorders
- Prescribe medications and therapies as needed
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays
- Provide prenatal and postnatal care, including family planning services
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner certification
- Current registration with the Nursing regulatory body in Canada
- At least 2 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple patients with diverse needs
