Job Description

Position: Security Specialist - Senior

Hybrid - 3 days on site and 2 days remote

MUST HAVES:

  • Demonstratedexperienceindevelopingandapplyingleadingpracticesinalarge-scaleInformationSecurity,TechnologyRiskorVendorRiskenvironments.

Description

Responsibilities:

  • ProvideStrategicAdvisoryservicestomeetministryobjectivespertainingtoITvendorriskmanagement.
  • WorkwithstakeholderstocollateandanalyzevendorriskdatatoenablehorizontalreviewacrossGovTechON.Deliverreportingandinsightson3rdITVendorriskstothemanagement.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • ProvidestrategicadvisoryservicestoensureITvendorriskdataiscaptured,analyzedandsharedtoenableaggregatedviewofriskstoinformfuturedecision-makingbyGovTechONleadership.
  • Review,updateandmaintainITVendorRiskManagementStandardOperatingProceduresandguidelines,throughongoingmaintenance,andperiodicreviewstoensureemergingvendorsupplychainrisksareproactivelyidentifiedandmitigated.
  • SupportSVMProgramManagerinthedevelopmentofKPIs,KRIsandanalyticsthatwillmeasuretheeffectivenessoftheSVMprogram.SupportperiodicmaturityassessmentsoftheITVendorRiskManagementprogramandensureremediationofidentifiedobservations.
  • Collaborateasappropriatewithinformationsecurity,compliance,and/ordisasterrecovery(DR)andbusinesscontinuitymanagement(BCM)staffwithinGovTechONtoreview,updateandsupportmaintenanceofITVendorRiskManagementStandardOperatingProcedures.
  • CollaborateasappropriatewithGovTechONITdivisionsandcoordinatetheidentificationandrankingofITvendorrisks.CoordinatetheclassificationandtieringofIT-relatedvendorsbyrisksandriskimpacts.
  • WorkcrossfunctionallywithotherOPSstakeholderstoreview,updateandmaintainITVendorRiskManagementStandardOperatingProceduresandguidelines.
  • MaintainawarenessofchangesintheITIndustrythatimpacttheITVendorRiskManagementandensurealignmentwithauditrequirements.
  • EnablethirdpartyITVendorriskawarenessandbestpracticesharingwithvariousstakeholdersandaidinthedevelopmentofvendorITriskmanagementtrainingmodules.
