Sr. Security Specialist, CKMS, Brampton, ON

In this role, you will work with a team of self-motivated and well-respected team members, working to manage the lifecycle of crypto agility. As a Sr. Security Specialist, CKMS, you will be required to administer and monitor the health and performance of the CKMS platform.

What You’ll Do:
  • Manage the lifecycle of cryptographic keys, including key generation, distribution, rotation, revocation, and storage.
  • Administer and monitor the health and performance of the CKMS platform, ensuring it is up to date, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Support the integration of Venafi certificate management solution to streamline manual processes in TLS management and integration with High Assurance (HA) PKI solution.
  • Support Data Encryption Deployments and Applied Cryptography.
  • Manage PKI and certificate services in conjunction with Hardware Security Modules (HSM).
  • Support projects, lead the development of new encryption applications and services.
  • Experience with scripting or automation tools for cryptographic processes.
What you Bring:
  • Strong experience in data encryption, key management, cryptography solutions.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of encryption solutions and methodologies and cryptography fundamentals, Digital Certificates and PKI standards.
  • Experience and deeper understanding of Hardware Security Modules (HSM), Key Management systems and Data Protection Management.
  • Understanding of the security protocols and cloud platforms (e.g. TLS, SSH).
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills along with the ability to present complex security subjects to internal work groups and projects.
