Job Description: Engineering Technician II

Role and Responsibilities:
- Write and approve commissioning and qualification specification documents, verification protocols, and reports for manufacturing equipment, support systems, and computer systems.
- Execute or overseeing execution of commissioning and qualification protocols with limited direct supervision.
- Provide validation expertise and guidance to projects and unplanned changes to equipment, support system, and computer systems within the manufacturing facilities.
Key Attributes:
- Proficient understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards relevant to the industry.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive working knowledge of industry practices.
- Adept at operating plant equipment and plant control systems for commissioning and testing purposes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, is essential.
- Engage in cross-functional project teams under guidance.
- Availability outside of standard operating hours to address commissioning or qualification issues related to plant equipment and technical projects is expected.
- Be available outside of normal operating hours to assist in resolving commissioning or qualification problems associated with plant equipment and technical projects.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills, are necessary for success in this role.
Requirements:
Associate's Degree from a recognized University or Institution and 5+ years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma and 6+ years of relevant experience.
