Design Engineer

Design Engineer - Welding
Location: Bruce Power Kincardine - B72
Duration: 2 Years (can be extended)
Vacancies: 2
Hourly Rate: $75 - 85/hour
Qualifications:
1. Working knowledge in ASME Section III, Section VIII, ASME B31.1
2. CSA N285.0, N287 series, N289 series and N291 working knowledge.
3. Previous experience with preparation of technical documents (Engineering Evaluations, Task Definition Specifications, Technical Specifications, Design Plans, etc.)
4. Technical reviews of vendor design packages (including the calculations and drawings)
5. Working knowledge in welding and NDE.
6. Strong communication & problem-solving skills.
7. Familiarization with Bruce Power ECC process and Maximo usage will be an asset.
8. Appendix 23 qualifications will be an asset.
9. Preferred P.Eng designation with PEO
