William Joseph Communications (WJ) assists clients in achieving their business goals through the development and execution of strategic marketing. WJ helps clients develop marketing strategies that are directly tied to achieving business objectives and expertly implement the necessary tactics.

 

In order to meet clients at the intersection of “now” and “next” WJ relies on bold and resilient marketers to move the needle. WJ is currently looking for their next Associate Creative Director to play a pivotal role in leading and inspiring our creative team to deliver compelling and effective visual and conceptual solutions. As ACD, you will collaborate closely with clients, account managers, and other team members to develop and execute creative strategies that align with our clients' marketing objectives. This position requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for design, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering innovative and impactful campaigns.

 

 

As Associate Creative Director your responsibilities will be to:

 

·        Raise the standard for creative work by encouraging designers to strive beyond limits

·        Provide creative direction and guidance to the design and copywriting teams.

·        Lead brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of innovative creative concepts.

·        Foster a collaborative and innovative creative environment.

·        Work closely with the Creative Director to ensure the creative department operates in unison, bringing ideas and solutions to continuously improve the department and the agency.

·        Inspire the creative teams and the entire agency through the pursuit of excellence.

·        Work closely with internal teams and clients to understand their brand, goals, and target audience.

·        Promote a unified agency by breaking down silos and ensuring all teams work cohesively.

·        Present and articulate creative concepts to clients, incorporate feedback, and ensure client satisfaction.

·        Maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted creative advisor.

·        Oversee the development of integrated marketing campaigns from concept to execution.

·        Ensure creative deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and adhere to brand guidelines.

·        Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into campaigns.

·        Generate compelling design concepts for various marketing materials, including print, digital, social media, and video.

 

The right candidate will demonstrate on their resume:

 

·        BA or BFA in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Computer Graphics, Multimedia, or Illustration

·        Five years’ experience in a leadership or management role and in the marketing industry

·        Demonstrated excellence in graphic design skills and high degree of innovation through the professional portfolio Graphics/Page Layout software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign

·        Experience in directing professional photographer services
