About You

Job Duties

As the Personal Lines Service Team Leader, you will report to the Personal Lines Service Manager and be responsible for the day-to-day performance of the Service Team. Specific duties include:

  • Supervise daily shifts and schedules to ensure smooth, calm and efficient teamwork.
  • Create and foster a motivating work environment.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key partners.
  • Assist in the development and personal growth of staff and provide support, mentoring and training as needed.
  • Use problem-solving skills to identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational productivity.
  • Conduct weekly team meetings.
  • Monitor and manage absenteeism and punctuality.
  • Take inbound escalated calls and emails as needed.
  • Answer queue calls if service levels indicate additional support is needed.

Job Requirements

Ultimately, a top-notch insurance service team leader should be an exceptional leader with a strong commitment to customer service, amazing coaching skills, and be goal-driven. You should also have:

  • The ability to work collaboratively with all levels of management, direct reports and colleagues to create a results driven and team oriented environment.
  • 3 years of industry experience.
  • 3 years of service/insurance experience.
  • Level 3 General Insurance License (or eligible to qualify).
  • CAIB or CIP designation is preferred. Working towards these requirements will also be given consideration.
