About the team:

You will join the hardware IT division of Euroclear (Group Technology Services). Euroclear is the hub of the financial system, and we are the IT core of this hub. We plan, build and run the global IT infrastructure of Euroclear. Our systems keep the financial world running. The demand for high-quality financial services keeps growing. And Euroclear is growing. Role & Responsibilities:

We have several opportunities open for Virtualised Infrastructure Engineers in the Open Systems Tribe. Tell us about your unique skillset, and we will match you with an opportunity that fits you In this role you will progressively:

  1. Design, install, upgrade, and secure our physical, virtual and backup storage infrastructure.
  2. We work with the modern compute solutions across multiple datacentres and move more and more towards Infrastructure as Code and cloud solutions.
  3. You will learn how to build servers and infrastructure automatically.
  4. You talk to customers and build infrastructure according to their needs.
  5. You resolve issues and constantly look for opportunities to automate work through code and scripts.
Requirements:

A degree or equivalent experience in Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or similar
A first job/traineeship experience in IT
Fluent in English (other languages are a plus)
Curious to learn IT technologies
Open to adapt to new circumstances, technologies, processes
Stress resistant and constructive whatever the context
Able to follow existing standards and acting with attention to detail
A great teammate who demonstrates good interpersonal skills
Solution and client oriented
