Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Overlook the overall Sleep Therapy department performance at our Head Office in Norfinch, and 3 to 4 satellite locations
  • It is important to clarify that this role will both be Supervising the Sleep Therapy team across our locations as well as contributing hands-on to a variety of day-to-day tasks
  • Report on Department KPI’s on a Weekly basis to Leadership team

Sleep Therapy Patient Care:

  • Oversee the setup of new PAP patients, monitoring patient compliance, and providing education and support to enhance compliance rates
  • Meet and greet patients in a retail environment to provide sales assistance or help with general inquiries
  • Setting-up patients on sleep therapy equipment such as CPAP machines and assisting with mask choices
  • Effectively upsell and cross sell PAP products and accessories to increase sales with existing and new patients (in-person and over the phone)
  • Build a positive and trustworthy relationship with patients in order to support them with their PAP therapy needs
  • Regular follow-up and monitoring of patients to ensure therapy compliance
  • Maintaining and managing Sleep Therapy inventory levels

Team Supervision and Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team responsible for PAP patient care and administrative tasks.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to ensure team members meet performance expectations.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, share updates, and address challenges.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, emphasizing the importance of attention to detail and patient satisfaction.
  • Work alongside the MagGas Medical Home Care leadership team to set and execute the overall company strategy.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Maintain patient records on Salesforce, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Prepare invoices using QuickBooks and handle insurance claims efficiently.
  • Liaising with ODSP, OWP, and insurance companies on behalf of our patients to obtain approvals
  • Liaison with Sleep Specialists, Sleep Clinics & Hospitals in-regards to excellent patient care

Operational Excellence:

  • Implement and enforce standardized procedures within the PAP Department to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and enhance overall departmental performance.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient care, compliance, and administrative tasks, addressing any issues promptly.

Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct regular audits of patient records, invoices, and insurance claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives based on audit findings.
  • Uphold the highest standards of patient care, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every individual in the PAP program.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Customer or Patient facing environment
  • Experience in the medical services industry is a plus
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role, overseeing diverse teams
  • Strong and effective communication skills and administrative skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision as well as part of a team
  • Familiarity with Salesforce for patient record management, or a similar CRM will be an asset
  • Experience with Quickbooks is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
