Phantom Photonics Inc. is seeking a signal processing engineer for AI integration to advance the existing quantum-enhanced remote sensing solutions. These sensors utilize quantum coherence and time-bin interferometers with single photon detector arrays to quantum-enhanced solutions in remote sensing and imaging. This role is pivotal in enhancing our capabilities across various remote sensing applications.

Key Responsibilities:
· Lead projects from conceptualization to implementation, making strategic decisions and providing regular updates to top management.
· Lead the development of advanced signal processing algorithms in quantum-enhanced remote-sensing solutions, focusing on optimizing system performance and accuracy.
· Employ expert knowledge of quantum information theory and quantum estimation theory to optimize system measurement, design, and functionality.
· Collaborate with a team of physicists, engineers, and software developers to integrate new solutions and enhance system functionality and Mentor and train junior team members
· Conduct rigorous testing and validation of new technologies and models to ensure they meet industry standards and project specifications.
· Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends in quantum optics and remote sensing to inform strategic decision-making and technological adoption.
· Interface with stakeholders and clients to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into product development to ensure the relevance and applicability of our solutions.
· Represent Phantom Photonics at conferences, workshops, expos, and other relevant industry events to promote our technologies and engage with the scientific and professional community.

Key Requirements:
· Advanced degree in Quantum Physics, Quantum Information Theory , Optics, or a related field with a focus on quantum technologies and/or signal processing.
· Proficiency in quantum estimation theory, with a solid understanding of concepts like Fisher information and Cramer-Rao bounds, is highly valued.
· Expertise in optical simulation and design software, such as Zemax, is considered advantageous.
· Familiarity with quantum remote sensing technologies will be desirable.
· Proven ability to innovate and lead in a high-tech environment, with excellent problem-solving skills and collaborative capabilities.
