Your main responsibilities:

Ensuring data protection within the Tally Weijl group and compliance with legal data protection regulations (including maintenance and development of internal guidelines)

Advising and training management and employees on data protection law

Introducing new reporting obligations and monitoring existing ones, as well as maintaining the register of data collections

Analysing and designing existing and future business processes and organizational procedures in relation to data protection requirements

Leading and participating in projects with a focus on data protection

Monitoring legal and regulatory developments regarding data protection and assessing their applicability to the Tally Weijl group

Drafting and regularly reviewing guidelines on data protection

Participation in boards related to data protection and data security (e.g., Data Governance Board, Information Security Board)

Conducting investigations into potential breaches of internal policies or legal requirements regarding data protection

Coordinating data protection inquiries with interfaces such as legal services and the Chief Information Security Officer, and collaborating with various internal functions in the field of data protection

Liaising with data protection authorities

Your profile:

Completed studies in law (lic. iur / MLaw), lawyers license, and further education in data protection law advantageous

Knowledge of legal basics in data protection law (IDG/IDV, DSG/VDSG, and EU GDPR) and initial professional experience advantageous

Experience in project work and risk analysis

Communicative, proactive, and motivated personality with a high degree of independence and customer service orientation

Ability to focus on essentials, communicate effectively with different audiences, and be solution-oriented

IT affinity regarding the digital processing of data including cloud usage advantageous

Very good German and English skills
