Our suite of end-to-end foodservice technology solutions helps professionals across healthcare and aging services streamline their operations, save time, reduce food waste, and meet regulatory requirements, so they can focus on what matters most: improving the quality of patient and resident care.

We're looking for our next Integration Specialist to join our Integration Services team. Reporting to the Integrations Team Lead, you'll be assisting new MealSuite clients and other internal teams during the onboarding process with EMR integrations, setup, testing, and troubleshooting connection issues.

A day in the life as an Integration Specialist:

  • Assist with the onboarding of new MealSuite clients (EMR Integrations, setup, testing, discovery calls).
  • Provide tier 2 support for integration and connection issues (VPN, ADT settings, API disconnects).
  • Create documentation (escalated concerns, setup configurations, triage support, customer settings).
  • Proactively monitor HL7 and API connections and server resources.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Customer Experience teams to develop and execute innovative processes.
In the first year, you'll be successful at reaching these milestones:
  • Provide internal training to MealSuite team members to improve organizational knowledge of integrations.
If the below describe your knowledge, experience and character, this role could be for you:
  • I have knowledge of healthcare software integrations and EMR systems.
  • I gained my knowledge through a degree in Health Administration, Information Management or Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of training and professional experience.
  • I have knowledge and experience with HL7 2.3 and above, including the variations that can differ between vendors and clients.
  • I have professional experience working with ADT order messages in HL7.
  • I understand the basics of APIs and communication protocols.
  • I have knowledge of ITIL best practices.
  • I have experience creating technical documentation.
  • I ideally have some understanding of dietetics/foodservice in healthcare environments.
  • I possess strong analytical skills and have a proven ability to identify and address gaps in business requirements.
  • I have proven experience providing guidance and support to my team members.
  • I'm willing to occasionally travel and have a valid passport and no travel restrictions that limit my ability to cross the border between Canada and the USA.
  • I thrive in an agile environment that is constantly changing and encourages team members to collectively collaborate and communicate.
  • I love to be directly involved in projects and initiatives that offer continued learning and endless opportunity to express my ideas and build my leadership skills.
More to love about working at MealSuite:
  • We are passionate people that care about others. The heart of what we do comes down to our mission to deliver smiles and satisfaction to the continuum of care through an all-in-one foodservice management technology.
  • We've built a progressive culture that values teamwork and innovation. We listen to all voices and entrust team members with tasks that make a significant impact on the communities we serve.
  • We're growing sustainably. A career with MealSuite offers the innovation and agility of a startup matched with the stability of an established company in a growing industry.
