TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for Civil Designers to work for an amazing EPCM client in Vancouver, BC. This is a long term contract position that comes with great opportunity to work on medium to large sized Mining projects.

Examine drawings and vendor equipment documentation of basic to moderate complexity within the discipline and from other disciplines for alignment with project requirements, and proactively resolve discrepancies.
Conduct analysis and tabulations of bulk material take-off.
Comply with project design criteria, industry codes and standards, as well as department practices and procedures.
Design and create 3D models of civil work of a moderate scale to assist the Design Area Lead or Lead.
Develop 2D Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings of a moderate level of complexity.
Tasked with enhancing competitiveness in the global market by providing unparalleled services and technical expertise.
Holds an accredited two-year degree or diploma in civil engineering drafting and technology or an equivalent qualification
Has intermediate skills in computer and software usage, including word processing, e-mail, spreadsheet, and electronic presentation programs
Has two to five years of experience in Civil 3D , Inroads and/or Openroads
Demonstrates understanding of civil site grading, cut and fill, roadway, underground utilities, and water and wastewater management systems (storm and sanitary)
Proficient in communicating with a variety of groups including management, colleagues, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Capable of learning and applying knowledge of relevant local, state/province, and federal/national regulations and guidelines
Possesses the necessary technical knowledge related to the job
