The .Net Software Developer analyzes business and user needs, developing or customizing software solutions to optimize "the handshake" between our operation and our client's business.

Key Responsibilities

Dot Net Developer

  • Design, develop, deploy and maintain multiple in-house applications written in .Net.
  • Connect with external and internal APIs for data interfaces.

MSSQL DBA

  • Support and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.

Report Developer

  • Develop new QlikView reports as well as support and maintain existing QlikView reports.
  • Connect with the business to understand the needs and requirements.
  • Liaise with clients to develop EDI interfaces.
  • Support the production applications.

Priority Management

  • Keep track of activities, development tasks, trouble tickets.
  • Identify and adapt to priorities and emerging needs.

Other

  • All other client services duties or projects as assigned.
Qualities Essential for Success

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of programming experience, using Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Proven technical expertise with .NET, SQL Server, C#, REST, OAuth, JSON, XML, CSS, and HTML.
  • Business Analytics such as Qlik, PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in delivering high-quality programming solutions and resolving complex issues efficiently.
  • Dedication and experience soliciting and documenting software requirements, and technical specifications to meet the needs of business operations.
  • Effective organization, planning, and priority management abilities to meet timelines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, workload demands, and service protocols in a dynamic environment.
  • A high level of professionalism, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively across company functions, including operations and business development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate information clearly to a range of external and internal company audiences.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with production systems - ERP, WMS, TMS.
  • Sage X3 Experience.
  • Third-party logistics industry experience.
  • Qlik Business Analytics.
  • Microsoft Visual FoxPro for the purpose of maintaining existing apps until their retirement.
