Feel your experience is a good fit for a newly released Contract role with a large Canadian BankJob Title: QA Automation Engineer - Commercial Banking PlatformLocation: Scarborough, OntarioDuration: 06+ Months (Possible for extension)Performance Testing:• Conduct performance testing to assess the scalability and reliability of the Commercial Banking Platform.• Analyze performance test results and collaborate with the development team to address performance bottlenecks.Qualifications:• Selenium, Selenium Grid, Java, test automation frameworks• Complete understanding of automation systems and databases and test automation frameworks• 5+ years of experience developing automation in at least one language - Java, Python, or web-based technologies• 5+ years of expertise in automation testing tools like Selenium, Selenium Grid, Robot framework, Karate and Cucumber• 3+ years of experience in testing REST Services• 3+ years of experience with Docker and Jenkins• Good understanding on build tools like Maven, Gradle & Ant• 2+ years of hands-on experience with JIRA & ConfluenceExperience:• Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA automation within a commercial banking or financial services environment.• Proven track record of implementing and executing automated testing frameworks.• Technical Skills:• Proficient in automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools.Communication:• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.• Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Education:• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
