Due to the high number of applicants they will be unable to respond***Job Summary:We in search of a Senior Water Resources Engineer to fill a very important strategic role for our prestigious Civil Consulting client. The successful candidate will be working on land development and municipal infrastructure projects within the province of British Columbia.Must Have:Civil Engineering degree or related field with minimum 8 years of industry experience;Eligible to register as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with EGBC;Skilled with AutoCAD, Civil3D, ArcGIS and water modelling software (PCSWMM, HEC-RAS etc.);Experience performing hydrological and hydraulic analysis, and modelling;Nice to have:Project management experience;Experience with infrastructure master planningResponsibilities:Perform urban water, sanitary and drainage system modelling, including data management, model setup and calibration, and system assessment;Lead the development of Infrastructure servicing plans for subdivisions, neighbourhood and city-wide areas;Perform hydrological and hydraulic modelling and lead the development of Integrated Stormwater Management Plans and Flood Management Plans;Develop rainwater source control LID concepts and assist in LID designs;Lead technical analysis in support Civil engineering design associated with municipal water, sanitary sewer, drainage conveyance works and hydraulic structures;Prepare construction cost estimates, implementation plan and operation and maintenance manuals;Write and review of technical reports.Additional responsibilities will include client communication and management; assistance with proposal preparation; coordination with sub-consultants, regulatory agencies, project planning, budgeting, scheduling and other project management tasks.
