About The Role

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will support and lead a variety of project pursuits within our Winnipeg Buildings division. As a Senior Estimator at Graham, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Determining the project scope of work.
  2. Setting up and completing estimates in the company's standard estimating program.
  3. Preparing preliminary construction schedules.
  4. Completing estimate quantification and drafting costing of labor.
  5. Identifying and developing constructability requirements for project construction.
  6. Analyzing design criteria and recommending options for cost, engineering quality, and material availability.
  7. Identifying and proposing project risk and cost mitigation strategies.
  8. Assembling conceptual/budget costs using past project analytics.
  9. Building and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  10. Leading a team of support estimators and operational staff on medium to large complexity projects.
Qualifications/Experience

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Completion of a Construction-related Degree or Diploma training program.
  • 10+ years of construction-related experience, including a combination of field and estimating experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Primavera, OnScreen Takeoff, Bluebeam, and BIM modeling.
