What you’ll be doing

Join our CIBC Technology team as a Business Systems Analyst in this Co-Op role and have a real impact in making our clients’ ambitions a reality This is a great opportunity to be a part of an innovation-focused team that is helping to drive CIBC’s digital transformation by supporting the design and implementation of large-scale technology projects and initiatives. Treasury Technology is responsible for designing, building, testing, and supporting applications for the Treasury business which incorporates Funding and Liquidity Management, Asset and Liability Management as well as Hedge Execution teams. Join our team and stretch your communications and evaluation skills to help enhance the banking experience for the modern world.

Important information

  • We may ask you to complete an attribute-based assessment and other skills tests (such as simulation, coding, French proficiency, MS Office). Our goal for the application process is to get to know more about you, all that you have to offer, and give you the opportunity to learn more about us.
  • You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible. However, you do not need to be in a registered Co-Op program to be considered for a role.

  • This is a 4 month co-op opportunity.

How you’ll succeed

  • Understanding Requirements - Work closely with Business Partners to guide formulation of complex business requirements and solution design discussions to meet project needs.
  • Relationship Building – Establishing relationships with Business Partners, Colleagues, and Managers to ensure strong partnerships and cooperative learning spaces.
  • Projects – Be part of complex projects to design strategic solutions aligned to CIBC’s enterprise architecture roadmap.
