Job Summary

How you will make an impact:
You will be responsible for overseeing several operating units and acting as the company's representative on site, promoting the company image and ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations.

As a Unit Manager, You Will:

  1. Drive the financial success of the unit's operation
  2. Lead all phases of food preparation, menu planning and development, operation planning and expenditures, budgeting, costing, and maintaining proper inventory levels
  3. Recruit, hire, schedule and perform general administrative duties
  4. Ensure excellent client relationships and client satisfaction with the service options
  5. Achieve compliance with Compass’ Quality Assurance, Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS regulations
  6. Initiate frequent workplace inspections and WHMIS training of all staff and effectively manage all

About You:

  1. At least two years of related food service/housekeeping management experience
  2. A strong motivator, mentor, and leader with management skills
  3. A detail-oriented individual and a strong team player
  4. Outstanding client relationship skills
  5. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  6. Proven Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
