Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Community Amenity Manager to oversee the operations of McKinley Beach. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, with 5-10 years of relevant experience, and be adept at managing a small team. This role involves direct interaction with residents, stakeholders, and the public, requiring exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of McKinley Beach community amenities.
  • Manage a small team of support staff and coordinate their activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents and address their concerns and needs.
  • Ensure compliance with community regulations and bylaws.
  • Organize and facilitate community meetings and events.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on community operations and finances.
  • Develop and implement community improvement projects.
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers for maintenance and repairs.
  • Handle conflict resolution and enforce community policies.
  • Monitor and manage the community budget.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in property management or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing a small team.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • A high degree of financial literacy; being experienced and confident to help create, monitor and execute budgets.
  • Proficient in using property management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed in exceptional circumstances.
  • Become trained in Interior Health Association public pool standards and test to maintain the community pool and hot tub.
