Responsibilities
- Define the product vision, roadmap and rollout along with your Co-Founder
- Own the technological, engineering, and architectural decisions as well as the technical roadmap to scale the company.
- Lead the development, deployment, and delivery of unique/niche product offering with consideration towards long term scalability.
- Recruit and build in-house development team, and also manage the relationships with external technical agencies and freelancers.
- Communicate the technology of the company to investors, clients, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- You have been an entrepreneur before or have seen the journey at a high growth startup
- You believe in a long term vision and can manage uncertainty.
- You are a self-starting individual, motivated by team success, a sense of fun and have a sense of humor under pressure.
- You love building a business and doing whatever it’s needed to make it happen - leverage your network and resources, get the job done through whatever wacky working schedules necessary, sacrifice short term comforts for long term success
- Track-record of delivering well-engineered products with modern technologies, have developed MVPs by yourself and led IT roadmaps.
- Experience building machine learning products.
- Strong communication skills with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ideally some previous startup experience, and/or a range of experiences within larger companies
This is an equity based position until the seed round is closed. My venture idea is in the travel/lifestyle space building a peer to peer marketplace/community with high potential for global expansion. Having worked at 5 VC funded startups, building 4 unicorns and seeing 3 exits along the way I am excited to build something of my own now If you are passionate and have the right skills and attitude for this journey - would love to connect
