Overview:
Our government client in Regina, SK is looking for a Business Analyst resource for a 7+ month contract, reference #SS-0020. This role is in Regina, Saskatoon and due to regular onsite meetings candidates must be located in Regina or willing to relocate for the duration of the contract. Our client is looking for one Senior Business Analyst to support the Primary Care Renewal Strategy being undertaken. The Primary Care Renewal Strategy focuses on the transformation of primary care services and structures, which is a core component of primary health care in Saskatchewan. This position will contribute to the planning, analysis, and implementation of key initiatives that are part of the strategy.
What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Primary Care Strategy lead, the Senior Business Analyst will be assigned tasks and responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Working with various stakeholders on the formulation of plans and activities to support initiative and strategy advancement.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Consultation
- Facilitating sessions and workshops with staff and health system partners
- Requirements gathering
- Process mapping
- Analysis and reporting on current and future states, including options analysis.
- Assessing the feasibility, impact, effectiveness and cost-benefit of potential initiatives.
- Drafting documentation and business cases for potential procurement and/or budget submissions.
- Some in-province travel may be expected.
What you must have:
- At least five years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst.
- Previous experience in health care, particularly Primary Care in Saskatchewan or other Canadian jurisdictions would be an asset.
- Experience at a senior level on at least one large complex project that involved implementing major transformational changes to staff, business systems, and processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience working, influencing, and communicating effectively (both verbal and written) with all levels within a large complex organization.
- Strong facilitation skills with experience effectively facilitating large workshops, gathering requirements, and presenting findings.
- Excellent writing skills with experience drafting business cases, reports, plans, and proposals.
- Strong ability to seamlessly translate between business/stakeholder groups and technical/IT groups.
- Familiarity with Virtual Care tools and technologies.
