They are currently searching for an experienced Mechanical Designer to join their team on a 1-3 month contract.Role and Responsibilities:Create and revise Autodesk Inventor models, AutoCAD drawings, BOM’s, and other engineering documentation as required.Participate in design and drawing reviews, shop floor troubleshooting, prototype builds and documentation preparation.Create/maintain documents required to support the design effort such as open issues lists, pre-design checklists, machine layouts etc.Update older CE marking related files and create new ones to certify machines as CE markedQualifications:3+ years of experience working in Machine Design.Autodesk Inventor experience is an assetExperienced taking basic concepts through to detail design including analysis, component selection and functional testingStrong attention to detail, particularly with creating mechanical layout, weldment, and assembly drawingsCapable with GD&T and other industry accepted tolerancing methodsProven ability to design for manufacturing and assemblyBasic FEA capabilitiesExperience with calculations to verify design strengthWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
