Accounts Payable Specialist

Our manufacturing client in Elora is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist for their team. This position would report directly to the Controller. This position is ideal for someone looking to learn and grow in a growing, reputable mid-size company.

Responsibilities:

• Own the full-cycle accounts payable process
• Code general ledger entries, enter invoices, and review other entered invoice batches
• Process payments and maintain AP files
• AP reconciliation, cheque runs
• Handling month-end processes.
• Cross-training with AR
• Assist the team with special projects as required. 

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience is required
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing background or experience dealing with high-volume AP.
• Relevant post-secondary education is an asset, but not a requirement.
