Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Disaster Restoration Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating and managing the costs of restoration projects related to natural disasters such as floods, fires, hurricanes, and earthquakes. You will be required to assess damages and evaluate the scope of work to be done, ensuring that all costs are accurately estimated and communicated to the client.
Responsibilities:
• Assessing damages to properties affected by natural disasters
• Conducting site inspections and evaluating the scope of work required for restoration
• Preparing detailed and accurate estimates for restoration work, including materials, labor, and equipment costs
• Collaborating with the project management team to ensure all estimates align with project timelines and budget
• Communicating with clients to provide detailed information about the estimated costs and timelines for restoration work
• Maintaining accurate records of all estimates and expenses associated with restoration projects
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulations related to disaster restoration and mitigation
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in disaster restoration estimating or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to disaster restoration and mitigation
