Position: Truck Apprentice Mechanic (2nd/3rd year).
Location: Kitchener, ON.
Pay Rate: $28 - $32 per hour.
Industry: Industrial/Maintenance/310T/310S.
Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist senior mechanics in performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with trucks under the supervision of experienced technicians.
- Assist in the repair and replacement of truck components such as brakes, transmissions, etc.
- Use tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical problems efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related field.
- In the process of completing technical training program to attain Class A (310S and/or 310T).
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge in the automotive industry.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Good communication skills - written and verbal.
