Our GTA based, Municipal Government client requires a Senior Fullstack Systems Analyst/Developer (.Net Core) to upgrade existing CES (Oracle 12c) into SQL Server 2019 environment with reports built in BOE and or Power BI.
ROLE:
As our Client continues to modernize its business, the decommissioning of legacy systems are required.With CES, platform in Oracle 12C, there is a need to upgrade and migrate the system into newer technology SQL Server 2019 to integrate and interface with IFS more efficiently and effectively while maintaining best maintenance standards.
Project Goals:
Goal is to upgrade existing CES (Oracle 12c) into SQL Server 2019 environment with reports built in BOE and or Power BI
The proposed solution will Replace the legacy CES with SQL Server 2019.
Responsibilities include:
- Liaising with the Technical Lead and Development lead, to develop and implement the defined business requirements into Microsoft .Net Core related technologies.
- Construction, unit testing, and system integration testing of a number of components for various processes under development. (These components include .Net applications (Core) REST APIs, batch processes, Crystal Report BOE.)
- Developer requires to be able to develop SQL queries, procedures, functions, design new tables and views in Oracle.
- Developer will also provide technical support during the various phases of acceptance testing, preparation for production implementation, and post-implementation support including application trouble-shooting and performance tuning during the warranty period.
- Developer will also require to be involved in completing documentation such as Technical Architecture Document, Functional and non-functional specification, Solution Implementation and User Manual.
- Follow DevOps and Agile methodology for project delivery.
