The opportunity

dcbel is looking for a Senior DevOps Specialist to work in our growing team. The successful candidate will play an important role in deploying, improving, and maintaining Cloud applications that power our ChorusTM platform.

ChorusTM is the key element in managing all our Ara units and differentiates us from the competition, making our EV charging one of a kind.

The Senior DevOps Specialist will collaborate with our Engineering and Product Management teams to help evolve the continuous integration and continuous delivery infrastructure for ChorusTM as well as dcbel’s Web and Mobile applications within Microsoft Azure.

Main responsibilities

  1. Design and develop Infrastructure as Code with Bicep.
  2. Contribute to the CI/CD of our applications and services with Azure DevOps YAML pipelines.
  3. Implement solutions to improve performance, resilience, security, and availability of ChorusTM services running in AKS.
  4. Evolve and manage the team’s observability and monitoring solutions for deployed services.
  5. Participate in peer design and code reviews.
  6. Modernize deployment strategies with GitOps using Flux CD.
  7. Participate in the evolution of Agile and DevOps practices and culture.

Key requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. 10 years of experience including at least 4 years of experience delivering various Cloud services and applications in a DevOps or related software development role.
  3. In-depth knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Helm.
  4. Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi.
  5. Experience with Azure DevOps YAML pipelines or GitHub actions/workflow, GitLab.
  6. Hands-on experience in Linux, Windows, and Mac administration.
  7. Strong knowledge of networking protocols, architectures, and strategies to identify vulnerabilities and protect Cloud services and applications.
  8. Understanding and experience with Full Stack Development.
  9. Experience with C#, .NET 8, Visual Studio, Azure (Microsoft tech stack).

Bonus skills

  1. Previous experience with Argo CD or Flux CD.
  2. Understanding of microservice architecture.
  3. Bilingual English and French written and spoken.
