Our client is looking for a Resort Food and Beverage Manager for their first-class boutique resort property in Quebec.

The ideal candidate must be fully bilingual and possess extensive operational experience, along with an entrepreneurial flair suited for this award-winning boutique resort, known for its exceptional hospitality services.

The Food and Beverage Manager will oversee all food and beverage operations, ensuring that financial costs and goals are controlled and met, while maintaining high service standards. A proven history of analyzing food and beverage costs, controlling expenses, and developing accurate forecasts and strategies to maximize profits is essential.

In this role, you will direct and assist in the development and implementation of innovative food and beverage concepts, continuously seeking creative ways to enhance service quality, increase revenues, and improve profitability. This position focuses on operations with a strong emphasis on customer service, driving guest satisfaction to the highest levels, and providing a safe, clean, and progressive work environment for the team.

Key responsibilities include managing team performance, increasing sales and profitability, maintaining effective cost controls, and focusing on talent development, training, and retention. The aim is to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction and employee engagement. The Food and Beverage Manager will oversee all operations related to catering, events, restaurants, and bars and will report directly to the resort General Manager.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in a high-quality property. A proven track record in developing and implementing sound food and beverage labor cost controls, as well as achieving superior revenue, is essential. This position requires working closely with the food and beverage team to help them reach their operational goals.

Outstanding communication and practical management skills are necessary to be a team player within this forward-thinking organization. The Food and Beverage Manager will maintain effective working relationships with all food and beverage leaders and colleagues. A university degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management is strongly preferred.

An entrepreneurial mindset, the ability to thrive under pressure, and the capability to develop proactive, rational solutions are crucial. The individual must hold all team members accountable, provide strong follow-up, and offer motivation at all levels. Proficiency in social media and excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required.
