Trystar’s team members are our most important asset, we are in search of an Electromechanical Assembler to join our operations team at our Pointe Claire, QC site. This position plays a critical role in achieving our strategic objectives. This position is an important part of Trystar’s plan to become the world’s foremost custom solution provider. The Electromechanical Assembler proficiently assembles various high quality power distribution solutions in a safe manner within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

In this role you will get to:
- Assemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures; and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, bolts, crimping, marking and cutting equipment.
- Connect cables, tubes, and wiring, according to specifications.
- Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) which are necessary to properly operate equipment and manufacture the product.
- Operate and maintain, pneumatic and electrical machinery used in production, such as air compressors, cutting, crimping, marking, feeding,
- Maintain and operate hand tools and power tools.
- Perform electrical wire processing to industry standards
- Perform quality checks and inspections to assure the product being manufactured meets required specifications.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Trade School diploma (DEP/DEC – Electrical, Mechanical or Electromechanical)
- 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency to read instructions, safely operate equipment and visually inspect parts produced
- Accuracy and timeliness in completion of work assignments is a must
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English or/and French.
- Connects wires to specified terminals following diagrams, wire lists, and color codes.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English or/and French.
- Have basic computer skills.
- Basic understanding of blueprints, schematics, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly.
- Must adhere to all the PPE requirements to perform the job safely, this includes but is not limited to, Eye, Hand, Feet, and Hearing protection
