Job DescriptionOur client is looking for a Business System Analyst.
The Business Systems Analyst will work with the functional analyst team, internal business partners, and analysts from interdependent projects to assess and understand business needs & processes, the technical ecosystem, data flows, and the larger enterprise program direction and company’s strategic goals.
SAP knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.

The Role description:
The Business Systems Analyst will develop domain level expertise and leverage that to respond to requests for complex analysis. This includes delivering recommendations regarding business process changes and impacts, reviewing test plans, providing input into project and deployment plans, assessing data dependencies, and defining the impacts of changes on multiple interconnected systems.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Requirements Definition

- Requirements solicitation and documentation
- Defect triaging
- Dependencies definition
- Systems context diagrams
- Systems analysis and configuration
- Reviewing and assessing test plans
- Payroll cycle planning, analysis and testing
- Provide input to project planning
- Establish priorities and provide direction for functional analysts, cross-functional teams, and vendor resources
- Participate in the design, development of custom-built functionality and interfaces for SAP and other Applications and work with other developers in this area.
- Supports assessment of data integrity/quality, preparation, and validation of migrated data from legacy systems to SAP or between SAP systems
- Identify and communicate issues or risks impacting the scope or plan
- Participate in the validation of solutions ensuring that business needs, goals and objectives are met
- Contribute in the development and execution of implementation plans for business process and organizational changes
- Collaborate with technical support in troubleshooting of incidents or defects that arise in Crew applications and ensure a timely resolution. Lead or participate in cross-functional teams involved in issue resolution, ensure that partners/stakeholders are kept advised of status
- Calgary onsite in-office position 5 days a week
