Our member is seeking a highly skilled and licensed plumber with a focus on commercial construction projects to join their team in Windsor, ON. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the plumbing industry, specializing in commercial construction. This role involves contributing to the successful completion of various construction projects while adhering to high-quality standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Construction Plumbing:
    • Execute plumbing installations for commercial construction projects.
    • Collaborate with construction teams to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems within the overall project.
  • Blueprint Interpretation:
    • Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan plumbing installations accurately.
  • Pipefitting and Installation:
    • Conduct precise pipefitting and installation of plumbing systems, including but not limited to water supply, drainage, and gas lines.
    • Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Perform quality checks on plumbing installations to guarantee they meet industry standards and project specifications.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with other construction professionals, including contractors, electricians, and project managers, to achieve project milestones.
  • Safety Compliance:
    • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment.
  • Problem Solving:
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues that may arise during the construction process.
    • Propose effective and efficient solutions to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications:

  • Licensed Plumber:
    • Hold a valid plumbing license in the province of Ontario.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in commercial construction plumbing.
    • Proven track record of successfully completed commercial construction projects.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
    • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and other professionals on-site.
  • Physical Fitness:
    • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with plumbing installations, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various conditions.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address issues that may arise during construction
