Esri Canada has an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Specialist, Events in the Marketing team. Reporting to the Manager of Industry & Events Marketing, the person in this role will focus on building brand, community, and customer engagement through the strategic deployment of B2B events both at an account and industry level. You will guide event production, providing leadership and project management for internal and external events, while working across company departments to ensure business objectives are met.

Marketing Specialist responsibilities include:
Event Planning and Execution : Plan and produce marketing events from concept to completion, ensuring business goals are met. Manage the use of event technology solutions, coordinate logistics, and provide show guidance to attending staff. Occasionally deliver and handle event materials/equipment and participate in the setup and teardown.
Stakeholder Partnership: Understand the audience and internal stakeholder needs, work in partnership with other internal teams, and act as the company liaison to vendors, external stakeholders, presenters, and customers.
Promotion and Marketing: Promote events through relevant means, including email, web, social, professional associations, etc., by writing and producing marketing assets and sharing with customers, prospects, and staff for their awareness, to gain attendance and engagement with the selected audiences.
Data Management: Collect and track measurable results, manage pre- and post-event support, and manage the consumption of the events budget. Event data will be used to inform analytics, performance, customer follow-up, and future planning.
Event Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of a national events plan and schedule of events informed by business planning. Evangelizes the event strategy and requirements to internal and external audiences.
Communications: Maintain assigned areas of webpages, providing effective and timely access to event resources and event promotions. Organize and host meetings with team members and align event activities. Support the manager and team members with information to build team processes and proficiencies.
Supplier Management: Manage supplier relationships for events and tradeshows, source suppliers, and negotiate contracts.

Specific skill requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in professional event management and production in a complex and dynamic environment, supporting both large and small targeted events.
Advanced knowledge of office and event applications (Microsoft Office and Teams, Salesforce, Marketo/Pardot, Adobe Experience Manager, Basecamp, Zoom, Teams, collaboration and project management apps, etc.)
University Degree or College Diploma in business, marketing or related field required.

Cette personne relèvera de la ou du gestionnaire, Marketing industriel et événementiel. Elle sera responsable de l’engagement lié à la marque, à la communauté et à la clientèle par le déploiement stratégique d’événements B2B visant des comptes ou des secteurs particuliers. Vous agirez à titre de guide en assumant la direction et la gestion de projet liées à l’organisation d’événements à l’interne et à l’externe, tout en travaillant en collaboration avec l’ensemble des services de l’entreprise à l’atteinte des objectifs d’affaires.

La ou le spécialiste du marketing devra mener à bien les tâches suivantes :
Planification et exécution d’événements : Planifier et organiser des événements marketing, de la conception à la réalisation, en veillant à ce que les objectifs d’affaires soient atteints. Gérer l’utilisation des solutions technologiques de l’événement, coordonner la logistique et fournir au personnel présent des conseils en matière de manifestation commerciale. Livrer et manipuler à l’occasion le matériel et l’équipement de l’événement et participer à l’installation et au démontage.
Partenariat avec les intervenants : Comprendre les besoins du public et des intervenants à l’interne, travailler en partenariat avec d’autres équipes internes et assurer la liaison entre l’entreprise et les fournisseurs, les intervenants à l’externe, les présentateurs et les clients.
Promotion et marketing : Promouvoir les événements par des moyens appropriés, y compris le courriel, le web, les réseaux sociaux, les associations professionnelles, etc., en rédigeant et en produisant des documents de marketing et d’information à transmettre aux clients, aux clients potentiels et au personnel en vue d’obtenir la participation et l’engagement des publics sélectionnés.
Gestion de données : Recueillir et suivre des résultats mesurables, gérer le soutien avant et après l’événement et gérer les dépenses du budget de l’événement. Les données relatives à l’événement seront utilisées à des fins d’analyse, de performance, de suivi des clients et de planification future.
Élaboration d’une stratégie événementielle : Contribuer à l’élaboration d’un plan d’événements nationaux et d’un calendrier d’événements en s’appuyant sur la planification des activités. Faire connaître la stratégie et les exigences de l’événement à des publics internes et externes.
Communications : Assurer l’entretien des pages web dans les domaines assignés, en fournissant un accès efficace et rapide aux ressources et aux promotions de l’événement. Organiser et animer des réunions avec les membres de l’équipe et harmoniser les activités événementielles. Soutenir le gestionnaire et les membres de l’équipe en leur fournissant des renseignements visant à développer les processus et les compétences de l’équipe.
Gestion des fournisseurs : Gérer les relations avec les fournisseurs pour les événements et les salons professionnels, rechercher des fournisseurs et négocier des contrats.

Formation, expérience et aptitudes nécessaires
Au moins cinq ans d’expérience dans la gestion et l’organisation d’événements professionnels ciblés de petite ou de grande envergure dans un environnement complexe et dynamique.
Connaissance avancée des applications bureautiques et événementielles (Microsoft Office et Teams, Salesforce, Marketo/Pardot, Adobe Experience Manager, Basecamp, Zoom, Teams, applications de collaboration et de gestion de projet, etc.).
Diplôme universitaire en commerce, en marketing ou dans un domaine connexe.
