Join our Compute Site Reliability team Our team is responsible for monitoring and measuring the reliability of our suite of Compute products and platform. In collaboration with Engineering and Product teams, we focus on improving the performance and reliability of the products we support.

Partner with the best. You'll apply statistical data analysis and an understanding of networking protocols to diagnose and solve some of the Internet's most difficult content delivery/cloud challenges. You will work with cross-functional teams to understand and benchmark the performance of our key products and services and influence their evolution.

As a Site Reliability Engineer II, you will be responsible for:

  1. Applying analytical skills and statistical insights to identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions
  2. Providing ongoing operational support for complex distributed applications
  3. Solving complex problems in a timely and accurate manner, avoiding recurrence through proactive troubleshooting, automation, systems programming
  4. Building software tools and systems to automate analytical tasks and workflows to increase efficiency and reliability
  5. Leveraging skills in data analysis, network diagnostics, and debugging tools to characterize performance and recommend improvements
  6. Participating in on-call rotations, guiding restoration, and repair of service-impacting issues

Do what you love. To be successful in this role you will:

  1. Have relevant academic or industrial experience and Bachelor diploma in Computer Science or related engineering field
  2. Show fluency working in a UNIX/Linux computing environment and possess experience with Internet protocols (DNS/HTTP/TLS/TCP)
  3. Demonstrate experience with Kubernetes and coding in one of the following languages (Python, Perl, R, Java, SQL)
  4. Show knowledge of Oracle SQL for troubleshooting data integrity, reporting, and data analysis
  5. Have experience with continuous integration / continuous deployment tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
  6. Have proficiency with a configuration management tool such as Ansible, Salt Stack, Chef, Puppet, or similar
